Atelier will present 5-week Chinese New Year Holiday Camps in celebration the year of Pig. To kickstart the first week, we will present you a brand new Signature Camp on the topic inspired by the Viking Age and culture. Come become an explorer saling on the sea at Atelier. 

阿特黎尔为庆祝即将来临的金猪年寒假，我们将推出五周春节冬令营。第一周首先推出的的是崭新的特色假期营，主题受维京时期航海文化启发，快来阿特黎尔成为一名海上探险家吧！

What is a Signature Camp?

什么是特色假期营？

It is a full-day camp having fun in learning both Art and Fablab classes focused on a big subject. The Signature camp will open to the students starting at the age of six and plus. 

阿特黎尔特色营是一个全天的课程，在一个大主题下，学生将利用半天学习艺术相关创作、另一个半天学习创客技术性的内容。课程开放给六岁以上的学生报名哦！

The Viking Age (793-1066 AD) is a period in European history, especially Northern European and Scandinavian history, following the Germanic Iron Age. During this period of history, Scandinavian Norsemen explored Europe by its seas and rivers for trade, raids, colonization, and conquest. During this period of history, the Norsemen settled in Norse Greenland, Newfoundland, and present-day Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Normandy, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Isle of Man, the Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, and Turkey.

维京时期（公元793-1066年）是欧洲历史上一个时期，尤其是北欧的斯堪的纳维亚的历史。斯堪的纳维亚北欧人通过海运和河运贸易，抢劫，殖民，掠夺探索欧洲。在这个历史时期，北欧人定居在挪威格林兰岛，纽芬兰，现代的法罗群岛，冰岛，挪威，瑞典，诺曼底，苏格兰，英格兰，威尔士，爱尔兰，英国属地曼岛，荷兰，德国，乌克兰，俄国，土耳其。

Vikings history and mythology are still very vivid in literature, cinema and gaming culture. Atelier's teachers chose this fascinating civilisation to take the students on a sailing trip through northern Europe.

Drakkar Boat (撞角战舰)

The main project of this Signature Camp is to build an animated wooden boat with the guidance of Art and Fablab teachers during 5-full day camp. Students will be immersed in learning of culture, history, electronics, wood-working, mechanism, simple electrical circuit and so on... 

这个五天（全天）的特色假期营，主要项目是通过学习文化、历史、电子学、木工、机械机制、简易电路等不同的层面，并在艺术和创客老师们的引导下，建造一艘可以移动的木制维京船。

Viking ships were marine vessels of unique structure, built by the Vikings during the Viking Age. 维京船是具有特殊结构的海船，是维京人在维京时期建造的。

What will the students do 学生将在这特色营- 

• Discover boat structure and science

  探索船的结构和原理

• Design and build an animated Drakkar boat built out of wood and different recycling materials.

  设计并建造一艘会动的木制维京船，并利用回收物♻️做相关结构

• Make an old parchment ( See the example below) that will be used to conquer new lands 

  制作一个古老的羊皮纸 （如下图），用于征服新领地

• Design, draw and assert their authority and carve the bow of their ship and their own shield (See examples below)

  设计并画出代表自己的权威身份图样，并在刻在船首和盾牌上 （见下图范例）

• Learn how to make a design using CAD software

  学习如何使用 CAD平面制图软件做设计

• Apply mechanism to move sail and/or paddles, add wonderfull LED torches

  结合机械装置的应用使帆和/或桨叶移动，并增加奇妙的LED灯

• The figure head will be design using a CAD software and cut by a laser cutting machine at OpenFab Space

  船头将使用CAD制图软件做设计，以在开放创客实验室内的激光切割机做切割
